Following the success of the 2011 SBA Amateur Series, it's coming back for 2012 sponsored by Nike SB as the 2012 Nike SBA 2012 Am Series and will include some of Nike SB's top Australian riders as judges.

There are two divisions, Juniours (14 and under), and opens with the top 3 place getters from each division qualifying for the grand finals. First prize for the juniour division is a 1 year Flow sponsorship from Nike SB and the Open's first prize is $2000 cash and entry into the 2012 SBA Pro/Am Invitational Tour. Open's also take home prize money for 2nd through tto 6th place.

Entry is free and the qualifier locations and dates are:

• QLD - Nerang: January 14
• NSW - Waterloo: January 21
• ACT - Belconnen: January 28
• Victoria - Clifton Hill: February 04
• Tasmania - Devonport: February 11
• SA - Osborne: February 25
• WA - Manning: March 10
